2014 Regional Competition

The final event of the NTMA Training Centers Robotics League saw the number of competitors rise again.  Many teams returned for the NTMA Robotics League's Regional, while we also saw some many new bots in action.  In total there were 18 robots from 13 different schools competing for the title of Grand Champion.

Prizes were awarded once again for First, Second, and Third place as well as the coveted "King of the Ring" trophy.  Teams were also awarded with plaques representing the "Best Engineered Bot", "Coolest Bot", Best Engineering Documentation", and "Best Sportmanship".

Thank You to RobotRevo for live streaming the event, which was seen by nearly 500 people worldwide.

Robot Conflict 2014

The second competition of the 2013-2014 season got under way in the Robot Conflict 2014.  The competition grew from 7 competitors in the Metal Crunch 2013 to 12 competitors.  Many teams returned for the NTMA Robotics League's second competition, while we also saw some new faces join the league.

Prizes were awards once again for First, Second, and Third place as well as the coveted "King of the Ring" trophy.  There was a changing of the guard, as we saw unBEARable Pain who was second in the Metal Crunch 2013 go undefeated and go home as "Grand Champion".

Metal Crunch 2013

The NTMA Training Centers hosted their first official Robotics Competition - The Metal Crunch 2013. Local High Schools, Community Colleges, and Technical Schools competed in an all day event that put their hard work to the test - and into the cage. 

Teams battled it out in 3 minute rounds as their robots fought to defeat the competition. First, second, and third place trophies were awarded, as well as the popular "King of the Ring" and everyone went home with a great experience and an idea of what's to come in the future.
